OverviewThe Platform Systems Engineering department (D417) plays a critical role in the development of a submarine by driving cross-discipline technical integration and optimization across the platform. The department supports a wide portfolio of programs including VIRGINIA Class, COLUMBIA Class, Subsea and Seabed Warfare, and future submarine classes. The department also leads and contributes to payload and Special Operations Forces integration efforts, as well as other systems engineering initiatives across the company.
D417 is currently seeking a Program Representative to assist the manager, supervisors, and engineering teams in executing the department mission. This role focuses on organizing, coordinating, and supporting non‑technical elements of engineering and program execution activities.
Specific responsibilities may include:
- Managing government furnished information (GFI), technical requirements, and purchase orders
- Assisting Task Leads with task management responsibilities
- Updating and maintaining integrated product schedules
- Analyzing department overhead spending and making recommendations to leadership
- Coordinating department hiring plans and execution
- Tracking and planning training to support employee development and address department skills gaps
- Developing, tracking, and assessing performance metrics
- Supporting the department surveillance program
- Working with and providing assistance/backup to the directorate program rep

Qualifications
Required:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of three years of work experience at EB is required (current or past)
Preferred:
- Bachelors of Science or higher
