StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Full Time Program/Project/Management Analyst, Journeyman in Patuxent River, MD, specifically supporting the DPAE(MCA) Flag Officer and Executive Director while providing indirect support to a NAVAIR Unmanned Aerial Systems Program Management Office (PMA). The Program/Project/Management Analyst, Journeyman's duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Essential Job Duties:- Position requires absolute discretion and complete confidentiality in dealing with Navy and Government personnel at the highest levels, Foreign Dignitaries, and Defense Industrial Complex Business Executives.
- Possess demonstrated experience in screening, appraising, and handling diverse personnel and situations to determine the appropriate disposition of immediate issues, weighing the nature of the events against Leadership priorities and schedules.
- Operating with high autonomy as a trusted advisor, the position must tactfully manage scheduled and unscheduled visitors and events, making independent decisions to either refer issues to the appropriate staff members or escalate them directly to Leadership.
- Responsible for receiving and appraising invitations for the Flag Officer and Executive Director to attend or address special meetings, technical associations, social events, or industry/academia activities within the Department of Defense.
- This includes preparing comprehensive background materials to enable leadership to evaluate the advisability of participation.
- In addition to customary executive support duties-such as managing travel arrangements, coordinating high-level meetings, preparing military administrative documentation, and mentoring/monitoring subordinate administrative personnel-the position requires exceptionally strong oral and written communication skills, extreme attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, and deep expertise in Department of Navy correspondence regulations.
- Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.
- Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules. Tracks program/project status and schedules.
- Applies Government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.
Experience Requirements:- 3 to 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating schedules, meetings, events, communications, and administrative functions in support of program or organizational leadership.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with military personnel, government civilians, contractors, and external stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize competing requirements in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive information and leadership priorities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- This role may require work execution after normal business hours and on weekends to support Executive Leadership commitments.
- The position requires documented executive administrative work experience supported by verifiable executive references.
- Must be thoroughly familiar with the NAVAIR organizational structure.
Education Requirements:- BA/BS degree
- Associate degree plus Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.

- Six (6) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
Security Requirements: - U.S. Citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000.00 -$112,000.00. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates level of knowledge, education, experience and skill sets.
