OverviewBAI, a defense contractor, is seeking an Electronic Warfare (EW) Program Analyst with 3+ years of experience within the F-35 Integrated Product Team (IPT) at NAVAIR Weapons Division, Point Mugu, CA. Salary
The typical annual salary range for this position is $100,000.00 USD to $140,000.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.
Responsibilities
- Provides program data analysis for government program authorities and leadership at the F-35 Joint Program Office
- Program data includes technical, financial, resource, and administrative data related to program cost, schedule, and system performance
- Analyzes program requirements, current status, budget, and schedules in order to provide awareness to program leadership
- Collects, completes, organizes, and interprets data relating to EW system capabilities and their acquisition
- Reviews artifacts related to systems engineering, integration, and test activities in order to assess program status
- Provides process management of the budgeting, development, and test teams
- Tracks and reports on each process within the program budget and schedule
- Uses all of the above analysis to inform program risk management processes and provides risk management inputs as well as risk process management
- Interacts with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) engineering team members reviewing and commenting on technical artifacts, providing input to the OEM project execution, while also providing awareness to Joint Program Office leadership
- Provides analysis and insight into OEM development of contracted F-35 EW capabilities. Reviews and provides corrections to OEM artifacts in accordance with Joint Program Office policy
- Documents any needed corrections independently from the OEM, using government information technology networks and resources
- Write and update draft and final program documents including system requirements and design specifications/documents, white papers, and engineering notes
- Support project related meetings (milestone reviews, status, design, etc.) in person, and both host and conduct meetings and teleconferences
Qualifications
- Between 3 and 10 years of experience performing the duties described in the functional description
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening—for staff, customer, and organizational level communications, both formal and informal
- Ability to work independently, self-starter
- Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
EDUCATION
Degree: BS or BA degree in Business Management or a relevant technical discipline
Allowable Substitution: An additional 6 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree, or 4 additional years of work experience with a relevant associate degree.
CLEARANCE –SECRET
Condition of Employment: Applicant must have an active DoD SECRET Clearance. The applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
