Chipton-Ross is seeking a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst 3 for a contract opportunity in Palmdale, CA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 2-5 years of experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and experience developing/maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and project management principles.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives.
  • Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
  • Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.
  • Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

  • Previous experience working for an aerospace and defense company.
  • Experience with specialized tools, including Deltek Cobra and Deltek Acumen Risk. Expert-level MS Project skills and Excel Macro/VBA skills.
  • Experience with Resource Loaded Schedules (RLS), Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA)
  • Direct experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and familiarity with DCMA health metrics.


REQUIRED EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS

Full time 5/40 workweek. 1st shift. 8:00AM to 5:00PM
