Job DescriptionYou will be the Subcontract Management Staff for the Global Supply Chain team. Our team is responsible for delivering mission-critical logistics and supply-chain solutions for the ARRW Program.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Subcontract Management Staff you will be responsible for managing a critical complex development supplier on the ARRW Program, overseeing cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare bid and proposal requests, analyze supplier proposals, and conduct price analysis.
- Lead source-selection decisions and develop pre-negotiation strategies.
- Interface with program, technical, customer, and government teams throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Manage post-award subcontract functions including cost, schedule, technical performance, invoice reconciliation, and contract modifications.
- Lead multifunctional subcontract management teams comprising procurement, engineering, supplier quality, and business-management members.

Basic Qualifications• Experience with subcontract management of complex SOW based design and manufacturing assemblies with the ability to drive supplier results to support key program schedule and technical milestones
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional Integrated Product Teams and/or Supplier Management Teams
• Business acumen and ability to make business based financial and technical decisions
• Demonstrated communication skills to senior leadership internally and at suppliers (verbal, written, and presentation)
• Demonstrated experience with complex negotiations
• Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures
• Candidate must have a Secret Clearance
• Willingness to travel onsite to suppliers
Desired skills• Experience with management of complex electronic assemblies on a development program and/or transition to production
• Experience with Design To Cost
• Demonstrated Earned Value Management Experience
• Demonstrated Risk Management experience
• Proficient in Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)
• Leadership skills displaying attributes of Full Spectrum Leadership
• Experience with SAP buying system and Lockheed Martin Acquisition Policies (LMAP)
Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
