Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

In Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA), we provide next-generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to provide unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability. We are a product driven business that leverages Electronic Systems (ES) technology know-how to be an agile leader in game-changing electronic mission and control solutions that enable our customers to create a safer and cleaner world.

The Production Program Manager will serve as the program lead for transition of a next-generation electronic defense capability from the development lifecycle phase to production and follow through into low rate initial production deliveries as well as capture & growth activities for follow-on production.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Strategic Program Ownership - Accountability for total program execution from requirements through delivery, inclusive of oversight of the integration of procurement, manufacturing, and testing to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to quality and cost targets
  • Profit & Loss Responsibility - Financial management, including Earned Value Management (EVM) controls, forecasting, and achievement of unit production cost targets
  • Customer & Stakeholder Interface - Primary point of contact for external customers and senior leadership
  • Cross-Functional Leadership - Matrixed leadership of a multi-functional team (e.g. Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, Contracts) to achieve programmatic goals
  • Risk & Opportunity Management - Proactive identification and mitigation of risks and opportunity management to optimize schedule and budget
  • Proposal Management - Capture Lead for new business opportunities, including proposal development and programmatic requirements definition. Translating customer needs into actionable requirements and follow-on efforts.
This role provides a flexible 9/80 work schedule and a competitive 6% match on 401(k) contributions.

Required Skills and Education

  • US Citizen with ability to achieve Secret Clearance
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business field
  • Experience: 10+ years of demonstrated experience leading multi-functional project teams in a high paced environment
  • Project Management: Proven expertise in program management processes, including program planning, risk and opportunity management, and Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Proposal Development: Experience generating Statement of Works (SOWs), developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and cost volumes, and ensuring new wins are both competitive and executable
  • Transition to Production: Experience in transitioning new products from development to production


Preferred Skills and Education

  • Experience as a Program Manager within an aerospace or defense production environment. Experience with AS9145
  • Experience with ramping from LRIP to full rate production
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Lean Six-Sigma certification
