Job Summary
The Program Manager for Electronic Warfare Systems is responsible for directing complex test planning and execution activities that support program milestones and customer commitments. This role serves as the primary interface with Program Offices within the Naval Air Systems Command test community and operational fleet stakeholders. The position drives cross functional integration, resolves high impact issues, and ensures alignment of aircraft, personnel, and test resources to support safe and successful developmental and operational test events. This is a strategic, high visibility role supporting a mission critical electronic warfare development program.
Essential Job Functions
- Ability to travel to operational and test locations, including extended multi-week assignments.
- Serve as the primary liaison to Naval Air Test and Evaluation Squadrons as well as operational squadrons.
- Coordinate with Program Office Test and Evaluation leadership to ensure alignment of aircraft availability, range scheduling, instrumentation, and support equipment supporting developmental and operational test events.
- Partner with Systems Engineering, Field Service Representatives, and Integrated Product Teams to ensure configuration control, technical readiness, and disciplined test planning and execution.
- Lead and support test readiness reviews, technical reviews, and operational readiness assessments.
- Provide clear, proactive communication and program status updates to leadership, Government partners, and cross functional stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate, timely collection, validation, and reporting of test data, findings, and lessons learned.
- Identify and mitigate technical, operational, schedule, and logistical risks impacting test execution and program success.
- Lead the development test strategies and objectives to satisfy technical requirements and program milestones.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 12 years prior experience, Graduate Degree with 10 years prior experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
- Minimum 5 years of comprehensive experience supporting United States Department of Defense acquisition programs, aircraft integration, or developmental or operational flight test activities.
- Minimum 5 years' experience with Naval Aviation test processes, Naval Air Systems Command procedures, and fleet operational environments.
- Minimum 3 years leading complex project initiatives involving large cross functional teams.
- Must have current Secret security clearance (or higher)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required, MS Project desired.
- VX (test) experience, Weapon School Graduate, Squadron Tactics Instructor. (Desired)

Travel:
Ability to travel 20% to 50%, including multi-week trips to operational and test locations, depending on project timelines and operational tempo.
