Program Manager, Weapons - Level 4
A Program Manager performs project management for multiple concurrent domestic & international weapons development contracts for the F-35 program and is aligned under the Vice President for F-35 Development and reports to the Weapons Program Management Office.
What You Will Be Doing
• Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison and lead between multiple LM Aero teams and customer.
• Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
• Tackles program issues, developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction objectives.
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, engineers, and clients.
• Works with Business Management and Control Account Managers to identify, analyze, and mitigate earned value performance issues and metrics problems.
• Leads proposal efforts and negotiations.
• Monitors execution to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and cost reductions.
• Communicates current status and issues to senior LM, customer, and USG leaders.
• Requires occasional travel.
• Frequent interaction with multiple project and customer teams and is not suited for telecommuting on an operations normal basis.
• Secret Security Clearance Required after start.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or equivalent experience/education
- Project Management/Project Engineering experience
Desired skills
- Five years Project Management experience
- Motivation and mission focus
- Ability to lead teams
- Program management experience
- Earned value management / Control Account Management experience
- F-35 Program or similar fighter program experience
- Aircraft Weapons Integration Experience
- Operational Military Experience
- Excellent Communication Skills - ability to communicate to internal and external senior leadership

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $113,900 - $200,905. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $131,000 - $227,125. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
