Department: HR - Executive Recruitment

Work Type: Full Time (Total FTE between 0.9 and 1.0)

Pay Range: $85,000- $110,000 per hour

Summary:
The Program Manager is a strategic role that serves as an advisor and operational partner to a senior executive within the Rush system. The Program Manager anticipates the needs of the executive and proactively builds the trust and confidence of leaders and stakeholders across the organization. The Program Manager is responsible for the coordination of departmental and organizational activities, ensuring timely communication and flow of information to and from the executive office. This role exemplifies the Rush mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

• 3 or more years of health care or related experience.
• Academic medical center experience is preferred.
• Experience at the C-suite level, working and collaborating with a complex and diverse executive team and medical leaders.
• Strategic planning skills to support the systems efforts to change in a dynamic and complex environment.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret data, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Excellent organizational and communications skills
• Organized, with outstanding project management and organization skills and the capability to successfully manage and implement multiple projects.

Responsibilities:
• Supports the SVP/Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) in advancing the strategic priorities, programs, and initiatives of the Human Resources function across the Rush system.
• Monitors HR-wide initiatives and priorities and manages the calendar of key HR events, programs, and milestones.
• In close collaboration with the CHRO and HR leadership team, prepares agendas and materials for standing meetings, including HR leadership meetings and other strategic forums.
• Analyzes workforce and HR performance data to measure progress toward key organizational and human capital goals. Tracks major HR initiatives and activities, providing regular reports and updates to HR leadership.
• Identifies emerging workforce, talent, organizational effectiveness, and people-related strategic issues for the CHRO and HR leadership team.
• Tracks, monitors, and follows the progress of projects, action items, and strategies stemming from the HR leadership team, providing regular status updates and recommendations.
• Develops presentations from conceptual information to completion, including research and analysis on workforce, talent, compensation, employee experience, organizational development, and other HR-related topics.
• Effectively and discreetly manages communications and documents of a highly confidential and sensitive nature, including employee, leadership, and organizational information.
• In partnership with the executive assistant, organizes and manages the office of the CHRO and ensures efficiency of operations and effective management of priorities.
• Initiates follow-up meetings and communications with key stakeholders on behalf of the CHRO.
• Reviews correspondence and drafts responses for the CHRO as appropriate.
• Works closely with the CHRO's executive support staff to develop processes and timelines for managing the flow and content of information to and from the office.
