Job Specifics:

Location: 744 S. Webster Ave., Green Bay, WI 54301
FTE Status: Full-Time, Exempt, 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week)
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, Days. No weekends, holidays, nights, or call.

Job Description:

The Program Manager for Surgical and Procedural Services serves as a member of the leadership team, contributing to the achievement of the organization's strategic, financial, and operational goals. This role is responsible for planning, monitoring, and reporting on operational and capital budgets; overseeing the procurement, maintenance, and inventory management of all surgical and procedural supplies and equipment; negotiating with vendors; and providing data analysis, variance reporting, and cost/benefit analyses to support sound operational decision-making. The Program Manager maintains awareness of product trends and pricing to drive cost savings, facilitates new product evaluations, oversees perioperative information systems, and represents the department on key organizational committees.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Certification/Registration/Licensure:

Appropriate license, registration, and/or certification in specific discipline as required or preferred.

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of demonstrated competency in a clinical or business leadership role required
  • 3 years of experience in materials coordinating preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred
Essential Job Duties

Including, but not limited to...

  • Plans, prepares, and monitors operational budgets for all perioperative departments in conjunction with Surgical Services Director
  • Prepares annual expense budgets and monitors on ongoing basis
  • Provides data and data analysis to facilitate operational decision making / ROIs
  • Interfaces with Group Purchasing Organization coordinating implementation of contract and pricing changes
  • Oversees purchase of all surgical & procedural supplies and equipment
  • Authorizes and facilitates equipment contracts, repairs, and replacement
