Full Job Description
CRI is seeking an experienced Program Manager/Sr. Contract Specialist to serve in a hands-on leadership role supporting federal acquisition and contract support services. This position both manages contractor personnel and directly performs senior-level acquisition support across procurement planning, solicitation, evaluation, award, post-award administration, documentation, and file maintenance. The ideal candidate brings strong federal acquisition, contracting, and program management experience, with the ability to perform operational contract specialist work while coordinating staff, resolving issues, ensuring quality work products, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform senior-level acquisition and contract specialist support, including acquisition planning, market research support, solicitation development, evaluation support, award documentation, post-award administration, procurement file maintenance, and related contract actions.
  • Lead overall program management, staff supervision, workload coordination, quality control, and performance oversight for acquisition support services.
  • Support day-to-day procurement operations by reviewing work products, resolving acquisition issues, maintaining compliance with applicable policies, and helping ensure timely completion of assigned actions.
  • Serve as a primary interface with Government stakeholders for meetings, data calls, urgent requests, issue resolution, status updates, and proactive customer communication.
  • Manage required reporting, deliverables, training records, agency access requirements, and contract performance expectations.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in program management, contracting, acquisition planning, or a combination of these areas.
  • Current or previous FAC-C certification for a minimum of five (5) years, or civilian equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required agency access, background investigation suitability, and credentials.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Federal civilian acquisition support experience.
  • Experience using federal contract writing systems.
  • Experience managing acquisition support teams, procurement workflows, reporting, quality control, and contract performance expectations.
