Description

The PM will lead program management for the DOS Consular Affairs Passport Modernization Program, overseeing special projects for Passport teams in coordination with Regional Directors and Passport Analysts to support both new and existing modernization initiatives.

The PM will manage and track projects for Consular Affairs through the pre-order, order, and post-order phases. These projects may include, but are not limited to, supporting design intent workshops or new passport centers; coordination of existing agency moves; Consular Affairs technology roll-outs such as CXone rollouts; and hardware modernization efforts. The PM Will be responsible for coordinating any required installations, site access, logistics, P&L, scheduling and reporting for the programs.

In this role, the program manager will oversee multiple teams, including other Passport program managers, various teams within CA, and private sector partners. The Program Manager will provide direct support to the Passport Agency Coordination Lead's, Regional Directors and, Program Analysts.

In this role the PM needs to be prepared to travel a minimum of 50% of their time. This position requires travel to all existing and new passport centers, totaling ~35 domestic locations. Additional location may be added to the program as required.

Qualifications

REQUIRRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and eighteen (18) years or more of related experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more experience; PhD or JD and thirteen (13) years or more experience.
• Bachelor's Degree and 17 years of experience or Masters and 15 years of experience
• Preferred Project Management Professional (PMP);
• 10+ years' experience supporting federal agencies;
• Support to the US Department of State preferred;
• Experience overseeing complex, multi-year project deployments;
• Experience with Vendor and team management;
• Experience liaising between Federal customers and private sector partners/vendors
• Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Secret Clearance

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
