Program Manager, Regulatory Operations

Here's What You Need
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare with 3 years of experience required
• Master's degree in healthcare with 3 years of experience preferred
• Five years of experience in a healthcare setting or environment required
• Three years of regulatory compliance and accreditation required
• RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required or
• Other clinical licensure upon hire required and
• CPHQ - Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality within three years of hire required or
• CPPS - Certified Professional in Patient Safety within three years of hire required
What You Will Do
• Accesses/interprets/explains applicable regulations and standards; communicates the impact and criticality of the applicable standards, including the added benefit to quality, safety and cost-effectiveness based on evidence-based practices. Use clinical knowledge and expertise to observe patient care, review documentation in the medical record, and evaluate compliance.
• Coordinate the entity triennial Joint Commission survey, support all JC disease specific surveys and other state regulatory surveys.
• Conduct entity level regulatory tracers based on annual and periodic risk assessments, to ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS and other regulatory bodies and requirements.
• Provide informal and formal regulatory/accreditation training to the entity as needs are identified.
• Review system and entity-based policies and procedures to ensure they adhere to regulatory standards.
• Proactively review upcoming standards and impacts and communicate regulatory updates.
