Job SummaryThe Program Manager, Organizational Development (OD) supports the development, implementation, management, and continuous improvement of OD programs and initiatives within the Faculty of Medicine (FoM). The position contributes to the planning, coordination, and evaluation of Faculty-wide programs to advance the Faculty's organizational priorities.
This position reports to the Senior HR and OD Manager, and works under the direction of the Organizational Development Strategist on assigned projects and initiatives. The Program Manager will work collaboratively with planning team members, program sponsors, cross-functional teams, and affiliated stakeholders to effectively deliver programs.
Work Performed- Manages the development and day-to-day management of organizational development and learning programs.
- Conducts research and stakeholder analysis to identify opportunities for program development and continuous improvement.
- Assesses and refines programs during both the pilot phase and ongoing delivery, identifying improvements to content, structure, and operations to enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and participant experience.
- Supports the design, implementation, and analysis of evaluation tools to measure program effectiveness and inform future iterations.
- Evaluates and recommends process efficiencies to streamline program delivery reducing administrative burden while maintaining quality.
- Creates standard operating procedures to support the effective implementation and long-term sustainability of programs.
- Develops project plans and materials for events, learning sessions, and programs; manages logistics including venue and consultant contracts, communication and presentation materials, complex schedules, gifts, attendance management, and pre- and post event evaluation.
- Develops, manages, and reconciles program budgets and expenditures.
- Manages online learning spaces for the programs, ensuring content is relevant, accessible, and aligned with the learning needs of participants.
- Supports participants throughout their program experience, fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment. Provides clear guidance, timely communication, and responsive support to enhance their overall experience.
- Develops and coordinates the marketing, communications, and recruitment strategies. Creates digital content (e.g., announcements, and website updates) and manages the application adjudication process.
- Participates in planning meetings, meetings with advisors, subject matter experts, and facilitators as required. Coordinates and supports the implementation of decisions and goals for programs.
- Continuously develops expertise by staying current with best practices in program design, learning effectiveness, and operational efficiency to inform ongoing improvements.
- Performs other duties as required.

Failure to accurately assess client needs, exercise appropriate judgement and foresight may impact the Faculty's and unit's ability to achieve its strategic direction or goals in a cost effective manner.
Supervision ReceivedWorks independently under the direction of the Senior HR and OD Manager and Organizational Development Strategist.
Supervision GivenProvides functional supervision of the work of students and other staff that may contribute to the delivery of organizational development programs and initiatives.
Minimum QualificationsUndergraduate degree in a relevant discipline. Minimum of two to three years of related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications- Undergraduate degree in organizational development, human resources, business, education, or a related discipline.
- Working knowledge of adult learning principles and organizational development.
- Strong project management, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to be thorough, accurate, and have a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to adapt writing style for different purposes and audiences.
- Strong oral communication, facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Ability to take initiative, organize, prioritize and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Ability to exercise tact, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others, demonstrate effective intercultural communication skills, and interact professionally and diplomatically with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Ability to synthesize academic and grey literature, interpret evaluation data, distill key insights, and communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint) and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to learning management (e.g., Canvas) and content management systems (e.g., Drupal).
