Job Summary:

Seeking a well-qualified and highly professional Program Manager to lead new product development and technology transfer projects for an onsemi business unit. The selected individual will be responsible for managing multiple programs that involve the development, qualification, and release of new products as well as IP and technology development projects and technology transfers. This person must also manage our new product package technology roadmap. This person will be an expert in leading cross-functional teams, managing program costs and meeting project deadlines to maximize the ROI for new product releases. This person will have a strong background in analyzing data to support decision making, and in presenting meaningful analysis that demonstrates the conclusions clearly to others. This leadership position requires continual interactions with both internal and external business executives to ensure the project outputs align to the organization from senior executives to entry-level employees. This person will have a broad range of semiconductor industry experience and be able to "fill in the gaps" between different functional areas such as manufacturing, engineering, finance, R&D, and operations.

As a member of the AMG PMO team, your responsibilities will include
  • Develop and execute the product plan for the development and commercialization of Analog and Mixed Signal products to meet all technical and business objectives.
  • Define, scope and manage transfer, multi-sourcing, insourcing and outsourcing projects and programs from ideation to production release and PCN customer acceptance.
  • Manage the program schedule to meet critical milestones and customer commitments
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to drive schedules, consensus, and communication.
  • Analyze large sets of data to identify key risks, changes, and opportunities and present data findings in a clear manner.
  • Lead teams to successful problem resolution outcomes, staying on schedule.
  • Perform regular project/program risk management.
  • Early identification, resolution, and timely closure of critical decisions.
  • Manage several key projects in parallel or singular large programs.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently to team members and stakeholders.
  • Document & report on all aspects of the programs.
  • Continually maintain and keep up to date the project schedule.
  • Responsible for deliverables and handoffs to customers, domain resource/schedule plans.
  • Assist in the identification, implementation, and documentation of improvements to the corporate New Product Development process as well as other related business processes.
  • Assist in developing and implementing project management process improvements across multiple internal and external teams.
  • Research and implement emerging project and program management techniques.
  • Work with new product development teams to ensure best practices are being adopted throughout the corporation.
  • Drive improvements to the corporate new product development performance metrics.


Qualifications

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, materials science, or a related technical field, at minimum. Additional business management degree, a plus.
  • 10+ years' experience in semiconductor industry with prior experience in program management or other product development role - product, test, device, process engineering, etc.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with a cross-functional and multi-geographical location.
  • Experience with conflict management across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Can do attitude, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Be flexible, be willing to take on ad hoc work assignments.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Experienced in maintaining, analyzing, and retrieving technical and non-technical data, records, and reports. Ability to create action plans based on the analysis.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail with ability to work independently, as part of a team and drive team members and tasks.
  • Project Management training and/or certification a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Project.
