Program Manager - On-Site Westborough, MA
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Program Manager for our Robotics Facilities Management program to lead facility operations, employee training initiatives, and the commissioning of new sites at both the national and global level. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of facility operations, developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for facilities staff, and driving continuous improvement across all building systems and processes. The Senior Facility Program Manager will ensure facilities are maintained to the highest standards, employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills to perform safely and effectively, and all sites operate in compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
FACILITIES MANAGEMENT
• Oversee the operational performance of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and structural components across assigned facilities.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize asset life and minimize downtime.
• Manage facility budgets, vendor contracts, and service level agreements to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Ensure all facilities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, ADA, and environmental standards.
• Lead facility condition assessments and capital planning initiatives to prioritize investments and improvements.
• Drive sustainability and energy efficiency programs across the facilities portfolio, overseeing all utilities and cost savings initiatives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on space planning, moves, and facility modifications.
EMPLOYEE TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
• Design, develop, and deliver training programs for facilities management staff, including new hire onboarding, technical skills development, and safety certifications.
• Create and maintain training curricula covering building systems operations, emergency response procedures, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
• Establish training metrics and KPIs to measure program effectiveness, employee competency, and knowledge retention.
• Conduct regular training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and develop targeted learning solutions.
• Mentor and coach facilities team members to build technical expertise and leadership capabilities.
• Coordinate with external training providers and certification bodies to ensure staff maintain required credentials.
• Develop and manage a learning management system (LMS) for tracking training completion, certifications, and continuing education.
PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
• Lead the commissioning of new facilities, ensuring all operational and training readiness milestones are met prior to go-live.
• Build, maintain, and distribute routine KPI and QBR reports, including facility performance dashboards and training completion metrics.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings to review active projects, resolve issues, and drive accountability.
• Act as the primary point of contact for facility operations and training-related escalations.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all facilities management processes.
• May supervise a team responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of facility projects and training programs.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of facilities management experience with demonstrated expertise in building operations and employee training program development.
• Prior supervisory experience managing facilities teams required.
• Certified Facility Manager (CFM) from IFMA, or Facility Management Professional (FMP) certification preferred.
• PgMP (Program Management Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety) and maintenance best practices.
• Experience developing and delivering technical training programs for diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in CMMS/CAFM systems (e.g., Eptura or similar platforms).
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, Coupa, and EBMS systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, building codes, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to train and influence at all organizational levels.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in facilities budgeting, KPI development, and data-driven decision making.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr. Facilities Program Manager position is $105,000 annually or $50.48per hour, and the maximum salary for the Sr. Facilities Program Manager position is $115,000 annually or $55.29 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
