Position Summary

mophie is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team and lead projects that drive the development and launch of innovative portable power and wireless charging solutions. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in project management, cross-functional team collaboration, and global supply chain management. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex project schedules and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for new product launches.
  • Ensure all project milestones are met, and deliverables are achieved within the set timeline and budget constraints.
  • Utilize project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) to drive project success.

Cross-Functional Coordination:
  • Collaborate effectively with product management, marketing, operations, supply chain, and global teams to ensure alignment and integration of project activities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and coordination.

Communication and Stakeholder Management:
  • Maintain strong, effective communication with internal and limited external stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues to senior management and relevant teams.

Risk Management and Problem Solving:
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
  • Resolve project-related issues and escalations promptly to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.

Budget and Financial Oversight:
  • Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and projects are delivered within financial parameters.
  • Address any financial discrepancies and work towards cost-effective project solutions.

Detail-Oriented Project Documentation:
  • Maintain thorough project documentation, including schedules, status reports, risk logs, and meeting minutes.
  • Ensure all project records are accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering preferred, but not required
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the consumer electronics or technology accessories industry
  • Proven track record in managing projects involving product development, supply chain coordination, and global team collaboration
  • Experience in working with international suppliers and manufacturers, particularly in China
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of managing diverse stakeholder relationships
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project needs
  • Ability to manage budgets and control project costs effectively
  • Technical knowledge of portable power, wireless charging, or mobile accessories is a plus
  • PMP certification preferred, but not required
  • SmartSheets experience preferred, but not required
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to project management and team collaboration
