What You Will Be Doing
You will be the Mission Systems Segment Program Manager managing the development of Software Enabled Mission Systems, sensors and related hardware subsystems, and requisite software, leading their procurement, development, integration, and verification for an ADP portfolio. This program is a high visibility, fast paced effort to deliver cutting edge integrated mission capabilities and software for a new development program.
The successful candidates will manage a cross-functional team to execute existing and emerging contract efforts. Management responsibility will focus on executing contractual performance to include technical oversight of engineering efforts, support the development of communications to customers and senior levels of industry partner organizations, major subcontracted efforts, and responsibility over the scope, cost, and schedule of a major Skunk Works program.
As the Mission Systems Segment Program Manager, you will be responsible for
• Owning the program's execution plan (schedule, budget, risk register) and continuously adjust to meet contractual milestones.
• Provide oversight of software architecture and design reviews; intervene quickly to resolve issues.
• Lead a multi disciplinary team, breaking down silos and establishing a single team "value stream" mentality.
• Serve as the senior technical liaison to customers, senior leadership, and industry partners, and suppliers; produce concise status briefings and technical presentations.
• Drive team's overall program execution and performance
• Partner with Technical Leads, Architects, Supply Chain, Risk Manager, Planning, Finance, and business management organizations ensure integrated execution strategy and success managing to portfolio metrics

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or higher
Program or project management experience in aerospace, defense, or high-tech software development.
Experience managing software development programs, with solid understanding of software lifecycle, configuration management, and/or verification / validation.
Earned Value Management experience
Experience in decision-making, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder-engagement.
Active Secret Clearance.
Desired skills
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; Master's preferred.
Direct experience with flight-control, avionics, or vehicle-level software in a Defense or Space program.
Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (e.g., MagicDraw, Cameo).
Exposure to DevSecOps pipelines, CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 - $236,325. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $154,100 - $267,145. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
