PROGRAM MANAGER, MRSEC, Materials Research Laboratory , coordinates and monitors the operational activities of the Materials Research Science and Engineering Center (MRSEC)within the Materials Research Laboratory (MRL). Working closely with the Director and Associate Director, the Program Manager supports the successful implementation of the Center's programs and initiatives, develops and improves operational processes, and coordinates collaboration among faculty, staff, students, industry partners, and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include tracking program goals, timelines, milestones, and reporting requirements; coordinating education, internship, outreach, partnership, and special initiatives; supporting advisory board and external stakeholder activities; coordinating program data, evaluations, and reporting; maintaining program records and website content; and planning and coordinating meetings, workshops, seminars, outreach activities, and special events. The Program Manager also supports financial reporting and identifies opportunities to improve program administration and operations.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED : Bachelor's degree; a minimum of three years of administrative, operations, program, or project management experience; demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines; excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and external partners; and proficiency with Microsoft Office and databases or project tracking systems. PREFERRED : Experience supporting federally funded research centers, higher education programs, or interdisciplinary initiatives; experience coordinating events, workshops, or educational programs; familiarity with website content management systems; and experience with data collection, reporting, or program assessment.
