Full Job Description
Ignite Digital is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Program Manager (PM) to lead contractor efforts for a US Navy program. The PM will serve as the lead contractor, senior functional program management expert, and single point of contact for the Government. This role requires onsite support within the National Capital Region and the ability to obtain and retain a TS/SCI clearance. The PM must demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication, strategic planning, and organizational transformation expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the lead contractor and senior program management expert supporting all aspects of the program's initiative.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Government, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
  • Lead engagement planning, including developing the engagement vision, mission, work plans, staffing models, and financial management.
  • Provide deep subject matter expertise to guide the implementation of client-focused solutions.
  • Direct the development and rollout of communication plans, training strategies, and change-management activities.
  • Translate organizational strategy into defined portfolios of programs and projects aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Select appropriate tools, techniques, and methodologies to meet client requirements and mitigate risks.
  • Investigate complex implementation issues using analytical judgment, experience, and structured problem-solving.
  • Coordinate all contributors, review work products for accuracy and compliance, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Ensure all projects are completed within approved timeframes and budget constraints.

  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Minimum 15 years of consulting experience with Fortune 500 commercial clients and government organizations, focused on:
    • Organizational transformation
    • Strategic planning
    • Human capital initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with military leadership and C-suite executives (CEO, COO, CIO, CFO) to drive strategic decision-making and lead major change programs.
  • Proven success in translating strategy into portfolios of programs and projects that achieve defined organizational outcomes.


Salary: $200k+ to align with education and experience.
