Program Manager - HST Connected Capabilities

Overview:

The HST Connected Capabilities Program Manager is a key role within the newly created HST Connected Capabilities Team. The role will be primarily challenged with driving company-wide process development and ensuring the successful scale up of cross-company wins. The role will support both Commercial and Operations teams with two main responsibilities. First, the Program Manager will be responsible for the development, rollout, training, and sustained execution of IDEX HST's playbook for intercompany sales. Second, the Program Manager will be responsible for the scale up, labor and equipment allocations and other activities to ensure that HST Connected Capabilities sales scale from prototype concepts to sustained high margin products to critical industries. Our core markets initially include Semiconductor, Space, Defense, MedTech and Energy, although can expand from this initial focus.

The Program Manager - HST Connected Capabilities will be required to travel regularly, regionally and internationally, to customers, businesses within the HST segment and also support other business activities (training, exhibitions, etc).

Key Duties:

  • Process Development: Serve as the responsible and accountable leader for the development, documentation, implementation, training, and long-term execution of IDEX Health & Science Technologies Connected Capabilities playbook. This playbook serves as our guide to executing intercompany sales in a way where we overdrive experience with our top customers. The playbook shall guide business, commercial, finance, legal, compliance, and other key functions necessary to facilitate both idea to order and order to cash processes.


  • Project Execution: Serve as the responsible and accountable leader for development and scaled production projects for connected opportunities across HST. Ensure timelines and costs are first established and then managed to 98%+ on time/on budget delivery. Work with individual business leaders and their cross functional teams to build achievable scale up plans for new products. Ensure product scaleups are delivered 98% on time/on budget. Decide then implement communication cadences to keep the strategic initiative on track to overall goals.


  • Monitor Resource Allocation & Prioritization: Own resource allocation and prioritization for the Connected Capabilities team and advise VP Connected Capabilities on changes in priorities to address value, capacity, or risk.


  • Support Winning Orders: Support our HST Connected Capabilities commercial team members to win orders by owning and developing project schedules, intercompany costs, risks & mitigation plans, and other key deliverables necessary for the negotiation and close of large 7 and 8 figure orders.


  • Risk Management: Manage delivery and scale up risks through thoughtful and proactive risk management. Escalate risks to appropriate leaders as necessary to ensure project goals remain on track.


  • Internal and External Customer Care:
  • Provide regular contact with emerging new customers and existing customers.
  • Help support service and after-sales activities, as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across internal businesses to support driving successful, sustainable commercial solutions.


  • Reporting & Information Systems: Use or build a consistent Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track activity, track progress to major milestones, and forecast business outcomes.


  • Other Tasks: Provide input to Strategic Planning as it relates Program Management activities. Other duties as requested.


  • This is a full-time remote position. Periodic office attendance is required.

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $99,800.00 - $149,600.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
