Program Manager, Global Workplace Strategy

We have an opportunity for a Program Manager, Global Workplace Strategy to join our Workplace Operations - Facilities & Events team, based hybrid out of our Burnaby, BC office, reporting to the Director, Workplace Operations and Events. In this pivotal role, you will drive operational excellence across the global workplace function-optimizing workflows, identifying and implementing AI tools, agents, and systems that improve efficiency and scale, and supporting the development and delivery of global workplace strategy. Collaborating closely with regional workplace teams and partners across HR, IT, Security, Procurement, Finance, and Legal, you will combine program management discipline, systems thinking, and change leadership to simplify complex, cross-functional work.

Be a Contributor - What You'll Do
  • Partner with the Director, Workplace Operations and Events to assess current-state processes across the global workplace team and identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and scale work globally
  • Build operating rhythms, intake models, prioritization methods, decision frameworks, governance routines, and documentation standards that improve team execution and visibility
  • Drive end-to-end process improvement across recurring workplace activities, including project coordination, vendor and stakeholder workflows, communications, reporting, and cross-functional handoffs
  • Research, evaluate, source, pilot, and implement AI tools, agents, and workflow systems that improve productivity, service delivery, knowledge management, and process consistency across the global team
  • Translate business needs into practical automation use cases, requirements, and implementation plans in partnership with technical and business stakeholders
  • Establish lightweight governance for AI-enabled solutions, including use-case selection, change adoption, process controls, and measurement of business impact
  • Support the development, documentation, and rollout of global workplace strategy, ensuring initiatives align to business priorities and operationalize across regions
  • Lead or coordinate strategic workplace programs from planning through implementation, including timelines, dependency tracking, risk management, communications, and follow-through on action items
  • Coordinate with regional workplace partners and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent execution while accounting for regional requirements, local practices, and business needs
  • Define and track program KPIs and adoption measures, and prepare executive-ready updates, dashboards, and recommendations for leadership decision-making

Be Prepared - What You Bring
  • 5-8 years of experience in project or program management, business operations, workplace operations, facilities, employee experience, or a related function, including cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated success improving facilities workflows, building operating mechanisms, and driving adoption of new processes or systems
  • Experience evaluating or implementing digital tools, automation, or AI-enabled workflows for business operations teams
  • Strong program management skills, including planning, prioritization, stakeholder management, risk management, and executive communication
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to convert ambiguity into structured plans and practical outcomes
  • Ability to work effectively across regions, time zones, and functional teams in a global environment
  • Experience supporting global workplace, facilities, real estate, employee events, or people and places programs preferred; familiarity with AI governance, change management, and process design a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations, project management, hospitality, workplace, or a related field; PMP, Lean, or Six Sigma certification a plus

Six Months:
  • Establish a documented current-state map of global workplace processes, roles, and tools across all regions
  • Stand up core operating rhythms, intake models, and a prioritized roadmap for workplace process improvements
  • Pilot one or more AI tools or automations that save time and improve quality for the global workplace team
  • Deliver at least one end-to-end process improvement that reduces cycle time or manual effort, and launch an initial workplace KPI dashboard with People Analytics and Finance

One Year:
  • Operationalize a global workplace operating model with documented SOPs, governance, and playbooks adopted across regions
  • Implement AI-enabled tools and workflows in active use, measurably reducing manual effort and improving service quality
  • Lead or co-lead 2-3 strategic workplace programs from planning through post-launch retrospective, moving initiatives faster from concept to execution
  • Demonstrate measurable KPI improvements and provide leadership with clearer reporting, better metrics, and stronger operational visibility
