Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Program Manager, Pathology & Lab Medicine is responsible for the office of the Department Chair. The Program Manager, PLM works closely with the Department Chair in maintaining a relationship with CHLA, USC and CHLAMG. Performs complex and confidential administrative tasks using a high level of discretion, interpretation, and independent judgment. Responsible for overall planning, implementation, evaluation, and administration of numerous initiatives within the department.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience required.
  • Demonstrated advanced correspondence, writing and presentation development skills.
  • Ability to effectively work across systems internally and externally.
Preferred:
  • Written and Oral Communication, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Word and Teamsskills will be assessed during the interview process
  • SharePoint design and Power automate experience.
Education/Licensure/Certification:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered required.


Pay Scale Information

USD $79,934.00 - USD $137,030.00

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements. Children's Hospital Los Angeles is a nationally ranked, freestanding acute care children's hospital in the East Hollywood district of Los Angeles, on Sunset Boulevard at the corner of Vermont Avenue.
