DutiesHelp
- Manage career field programs to support the recruitment, development, employment, and retention of a qualified workforce.
- Develop workforce strategies to address current and future career field requirements through training, development, and talent management initiatives.
- Evaluate career field programs to measure effectiveness and identify opportunities for improving workforce outcomes.
- Analyze workforce requirements to identify trends, address competency gaps, and recommend solutions for current and future workforce needs.
- Advise senior leaders and stakeholders on career field programs, workforce priorities, resource requirements, and policy matters.
- Lead division operations by establishing work priorities, directing subordinate employees, and ensuring accomplishment of organizational goals.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level which includes:1. Managing career or talent management programs for a large, complex workforce. 2. Developing workforce strategies to address organization-wide talent management requirements. 3. Evaluating workforce programs to determine effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. 4. Analyzing workforce requirements to recommend solutions to complex workforce needs. 5. Advising senior leaders on workforce programs, priorities, resources, or policy matters.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
EducationSome federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience aloneno substitution of education for experience is permitted.
