Full Job Description
What You'll Do:

As the Program Manager, you will provide oversight of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in support of the Virtual Integration Training (VIT) Pillar specifically supporting Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) and the Fleet Synthetic Training (FST) continuum. This position will be based on-site at the NAWCTSD facility in Orlando, FL.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead an IPT providing oversight and deliverables to numerous team members to include Lead System Engineers, Logisticians, Cost & Schedule Analyst, Test & Evaluation, Financial Analyst, Cyber Operations, and Contracts Specialists.
  • Analyze drafts and final submissions of proposals to ensure strategic alignment and probability.
  • Budget management: providing information to the prime contractor for inclusion in the overall contract budget and being familiar with budgeting tools while overseeing the IPT Financial Analyst.
  • Responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs) from contactors bidding for contracts, working closely with leadership and the IPT to ensure all Contract Deliverables are addressed.
  • Managing schedules and technical deliverables.
  • Generating monthly reports including cost, schedule, and other deliverables when required.
  • Prepare and conduct in-person briefs as requested to include bi-weekly IPT updates, Program Reviews, and others as required.
  • Position requires flexibility in working hours and telework in not authorized.
  • Some travel may be required (approx. 4 times a year) based on IPT assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3 years of DoD acquisition experience with at least 1 year of experience in a program management role, required.
