POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Shields Point, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has a potential opportunity for an (CONUS) Corporate Program Manager. The Corporate Program Manager responsibilities involve coordinating the administration of the contracts' implementation and operations. The incumbent will have oversight over all operations and be in coordination with the In-Country Program Manager to ensure that all components of the Program Management Office (PMO) are implemented and operate professionally.

This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent. If the contract is awarded, another position posting will be available on the Company Careers portal.
  • Responsibilities also include coordination and monitoring of scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of the contract.

  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all contract requirements, working in close coordination with INL and Embassy Port-au-Prince, especially in interactions involving planning and other managerial issues.

Payrate: $150,000 to $160,000 Annually

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant management discipline with over ten years of experience in commonly used project management concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Extensive project experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Advanced degree preferred. Past performance documentation required.
  • PMP Certification required.
  • Speaks, reads, and writes in fluent English.

The Alutiiq people, also called by their ancestral name Sugpiaq, as well as Pacific Eskimo or Pacific Yupik, are a southern coastal people of Alaska Natives. Their traditional homelands include Prince William Sound and outer Kenai Peninsula, the Kodiak Archipelago and the Alaska Peninsula. In the early 1800s there were more than 60 Alutiiq villages in the Kodiak archipelago, with an estimated population of 13,000 people. Today more than 4,000 Alutiiq people live in Alaska.
