What will you be doing:

Cedars-Sinai is launching a new Administrative Fellowship Program aimed at identifying and developing the next generation of healthcare leaders. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Program Manager to design, launch, and oversee this inaugural leadership development initiative. In this role, you will lead all aspects of the program, from development and structure to recruitment, mentorship coordination, rotation oversight, and daily operations. You will design and implement a 12-18-month fellowship program incorporating structured rotations, leadership training, executive mentorship, and project-based learning, with clearly defined milestones and evaluation metrics aligned to organizational goals and industry best practices. The Program Manager will partner closely with HR, executives, and department leaders to integrate the program into broader talent development strategies and build cross-functional relationships to ensure fellows gain broad exposure to healthcare operations. You will develop and lead targeted recruitment strategies for MBA, MPH, and related graduate students, manage the application and selection process, and cultivate partnerships with academic institutions. The Program Manager will track fellow performance, present outcomes to leadership, manage the program budget, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and maintain program documentation for evaluation and improvement. Although this is an individual contributor role, the position will provide leadership for cross-functional collaboration to ensure the development and oversight of a high-impact program.

  • Responsible for program planning, development, and implementation, including governance, processes, timelines, and resource coordination to meet objectives.
  • May identify program participants and lead cross-functional teams in program administration and growth.
  • Interfaces with internal and external stakeholders, including departments, leaders, and external agencies, to provide guidance, resolve issues, and implement solutions.
  • Identifies logistics, growth opportunities, and efficiencies; evaluates feasibility and financial impact; and contributes to strategic planning.
  • Analyzes program data, quality measures, and trends; makes recommendations or implements improvements based on findings.
  • Evaluates requests for program changes or exceptions and determines appropriate response.
  • Develops and delivers communication, training, onboarding, and mentorship efforts; provides regular updates across the organization.
  • Partners with leadership to manage program budgets and financials, resolving or escalating issues as needed.
  • Ensures data integrity, quality assurance, and compliance with laws, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.


Qualifications

Experience Requirements:
  • Five (5) years of experience in program management, healthcare administration, or workforce/leadership development.
  • Three (3) years of experience leading administrative fellowship or rotational leadership development programs within a healthcare setting is preferred.

Educational Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Bachelor's degree in public health, social work, healthcare administration, organizational development, nonprofit management, business, or a related field preferred; Master's degree highly preferred.
