Job Description

HII-Mission Technologies Air and Marine Integration team is seeking a Program Manager 1 to support high-visibility project coordination and execution for NAVAIR program offices. This onsite role in California, MD gives you the opportunity to contribute to mission-critical initiatives and work closely with experienced program and technical teams. Candidates must hold an active Secret clearance, with a Top Secret strongly preferred.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day cost, schedule, and technical tracking for assigned program tasks.
  • Assist with assembly and production-focused projects, including tracking progress and helping resolve issues.
  • Help coordinate program activities from initiation through completion under the direction of senior program staff.
  • Work with team members to keep tasks on track and aligned with established processes and technologies.
  • Support customer communications by preparing materials and participating in program reviews.
  • Identify and track program milestones, schedules, risks, and potential issues.
  • Assist in preparing updates, reports, and documentation for internal teams and customer stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with technical, administrative, and other support personnel to keep program activities organized and moving forward.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience.
  • Familiarity working with NAWCAD and NAVAIR program offices to support project coordination and execution.
  • Experience supporting assembly and production-focused projects, including tracking progress and assisting with issue resolution.
  • Hands-on involvement with aerospace-related projects, contributing to planning, documentation, and cross-team communication.
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 best practices and quality management processes, with experience applying them in day to day project activities.
  • Clearance: An active secret security clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
