Senior Program Management Specialist (Strategic Agility & Executive Services)
Drive enterprise-level organizational transformation and strategic operations within the Software Directorate. In this high-impact, dual-role position, you will direct cross-functional teams to design 5+ year strategic roadmaps while leading executive support operations, protocol, and Director's Action Group functions to provide direct strategic counsel to Group and Division leadership.
- Architect the 5-Year Vision: Shape the long-term organizational strategy, defining the multi-year goals, performance metrics, and policy frameworks that steer the Software Directorate into the future.
- Direct Executive Impact: Serve as the trusted right hand to senior military and civilian executives, running the Director's Action Group and delivering continuous, high-level counsel and accountability.
- Enterprise-Scale Authority: Lead cross-functional teams in comprehensive organizational analysis, driving process improvements, optimizing resource allocations, and enhancing logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Organizational Analysis: Establish 5+ year strategic goals, design organizational performance metrics, and direct cross-functional teams to optimize mission effectiveness and resource management.
- Director's Action Group & Executive Services: Direct centralized executive support operations across the Group and Division, managing high-level correspondence, leadership briefings, tours, protocol, and special projects.
- Policy & Governance: Interpret defense regulations for agency-wide compliance, oversee internal policy development, and lead communications initiatives designed to strengthen the workforce.
- Suspense & Knowledge Management: Manage critical administrative workflows, suspense tracking, records management, and timekeeping programs to ensure organizational synchronization.
Who You Are
- A strategic organizational expert skilled in long-range defense planning, data-backed organizational design, and continuous process improvement methodologies.
- A seasoned executive coordinator with deep experience managing Director's Action Group operations, executive protocol, and high-stakes suspense workflows.
- A polished communicator and leader adept at directing matrixed teams, interpreting complex regulatory policy, and advising senior executives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Obtain & maintain a Secret security clearance
- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft
- May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours
Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
1. Extensive knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of the program and/or strategic sourcing.
2. Master knowledge of overall missions, functions, and organization of the agency or component. Ability to apply the knowledge to evaluate current organizational strategies and performance.
3. Extensive knowledge of organizational concepts, principles, and practices as related to the requirements for performance-based logistics, acquisition., supply maintenance, procurement procedures, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, and other support areas.
4. Ability to maintain good working relations with all individuals and organizations.
5. Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations as related to organizational issues. Ability to understand and deploy lean concepts in problem resolution.
6. Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, as well as developing methods and operating procedures as required.
