Job Description

Position Summary:

The Program Manager serves as a trusted partner to business and technology leaders, providing strategic direction, governance, risk management, and coaching to build a project management organization. You will report into the Global Program Services Team within IT, specifically supporting the cybersecurity organization.

Your Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Provide guidance and support to project managers in resolving complex project challenges.
  • Administer company policies that directly affect subordinate employees.
  • Champion employee engagement and professional development initiatives.
  • Provide management to professional individual contributors and experienced support individual contributors.
  • Acts as advisor to team and may become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems. Developing supervisory expertise.
  • Direct employees according to established policies and management guidance.
  • Management reviews work to measure objective obtainment.
  • Frequently work with your team/peers and customers to gain cooperation of others or conduct presentations of technical information or project activities.
  • Build productive internal/external working relationships.

Process Improvement & Governance

  • Promote project management standards, methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Improve continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, templates, and governance processes.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Apply company policies and procedures to resolve variety of issues.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with executive sponsors, business leaders, and project stakeholders.
  • Facilitate steering committee meetings
  • Communicate project status, key decisions, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment throughout project lifecycles.

Program & Project Management

  • Receive assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals.
  • Oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure activities.
  • Ensure projects are delivered according to scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Promote program governance, status reporting, and executive communications.
  • Work on issues of moderate scope where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors.
  • Exercise judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate action.

The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of time.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience in Program and People Management.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity
  • SAFe Framework / Agile Experience
  • PMP Certification
  • Jira / Jira Align Experience
  • MS Project Experience
  • Power BI Reporting
