Full Job Description
Responsibilities

Performs a variety of project administration support services involving data review, reporting, project coordination, budget review, and other related duties in support of the Project/Program Manager. Provides support to the Project/Program Manager in planning, managing, and monitoring projects related to Submarine programs at Naval Undersea Warefare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) through their life cycle. Works on overall project planning through reporting on project schedules and deliverables. Briefs management on the status of action items and metrics to track contract performance.
  • Provide administrative support to program managers and technical leads.
  • Coordinates and facilitates program/project status meetings, including direct support for NUWCDIVNPT customer meetings.
  • Supports management in planning, budgeting, managing and monitoring project status.
  • Manage and coordinate communications withing project teams, and with our customers.
  • Develop and track project schedules. Record project action items and status, and provide reports to program management.

Qualifications

  • BS 2-4 Years, MS 0-2 or HS 8-10
  • Bachelor's degree or HS diploma plus 8 years of experience in administrative or project management roles.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are required. Ability to work as part of a team is essential.
  • Familiarity with MS Office products including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Project are required.
  • Familiarity with DoD systems acquisition processes is desired.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required U.S. Government Secret security clearance.

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
