The Program Lead plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of Wolseley by leading the execution, coordination, and continuous improvement of our national talent pipeline programs. This role supports the development of emerging talent across key areas of the business, including trainee, sales, branch operations, and future leadership pathways. As the primary point of contact for program participants, HR partners, and business leaders, the Program Lead ensures a consistent, engaging, and high-quality participant experience from recruitment and onboarding through to development progression and role readiness.

What You Will Do
  • Lead the end-to-end management of national talent pipeline programs, ensuring alignment with business priorities, workforce needs, and future talent strategy
  • Oversee program execution and participant experience across all program streams, ensuring consistency, engagement, and a high-quality development journey
  • Partner with HR, business leaders, and key stakeholders to support participant development, performance, and readiness for future roles
  • Continuously assess and evolve program structure, content, and delivery to reflect changing business priorities, learner needs, and organizational goals
  • Support recruitment efforts by contributing to candidate selection, assessing program fit, and ensuring alignment between candidate potential, program objectives, and future role readiness
  • Facilitate program delivery through learning sessions, participant check-ins, coaching conversations, and development touchpoints
  • Support participants throughout their program journey by monitoring progress, encouraging engagement, addressing challenges, and enabling successful program completion
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Wolseley by building and maintaining relationships with post-secondary institutions and industry partners, representing the organization at career fairs, networking events, and campus engagements, and promoting Wolseley's career pathways and value proposition to future talent


What You Will Bring
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing programs and facilitating learning

Vacancy Status: Existing position

Base Salary Range: $75,000 to $90,000 + 10% Bonus
Total Posting Range: $79,000 to $99,000

Please note: The total compensation range posted for this role represents the total compensation opportunity, which may include base wage, bonuses, commissions, and/or other monetary components, if applicable. Placement in the range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, candidate experience, skills and qualifications relevant to the role.
