Program Integrator

Program Integrators serve as critical conduits of information, alignment, and decision-making between the centralized Planning & Programs team and Functional Area (FA) planning teams. They operate as central program managers with defined focus areas, while also flexing outside of those areas to address the highest-priority cross-functional risks and issues to remove blockers and enable timely decision-making through appropriate governance channels.

As a Program Integrator, you will be at the center of LA28's strategic initiatives driving cross-functional integration, ensuring alignment across Functional Areas, and translating complex inputs into clear, actionable plans. This role offers a unique opportunity to partner closely with leaders across the organization and contribute to the delivery of one of the most significant global events.

This role is responsible for working closely with Functional Area leaders, planners, and subject matter experts to ensure integrated planning, maintain situational awareness of program status, and drive progress across interconnected workstreams.

Program Integrators report to a Portfolio Lead within the centralized Planning & Programs team and are accountable for tracking, managing, and ensuring fulfillment of contracts within their assigned areas. This requires developing a strong understanding of goods, services, and delivery models to effectively support decisions and trade-offs for each FA leader. Success in this role depends on strong relationships, sound judgment, and the ability to synthesize complex and sometimes conflicting information into aligned action
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist FA leaders with strategic and operational planning efforts. Aligning strategy, objectives, and key results to the plan for execution.
  • Use tracking of milestones, OKRS, risks, issues and decisions to drive the right conversations to remove barriers for working teams
  • Understand, communicate, and drive resolution for trade-offs between scope, budget, and resources within your functional areas.
  • Support and manage one or more functional area's timelines, budget, and resource allocation by interfacing with the central planning, finance and people teams.
  • Act as a conduit of information, applying critical thinking to the information available and assisting with connecting functional areas to the broader scope of the organization.
  • Partner with department functional area lead and procurement team to provide oversight of the contracts in their area, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, monitoring of contract performance, managing risks associated with the contract and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with business affairs and procurement to track and report progress on agreements in negotiation.
  • Create and contribute to reports and presentations to facilitate sharing information, metrics, and progress related to the functional area goals.
Background & Requirements:
  • Experience working in Management Consulting or business analysis roles.
  • Ongoing professional development, certification, or training in program and project management, change management.
  • 7+ years managing projects end to end with proficiency implementing processes and standards.
  • 3+ years of managing contracts for a department or team throughout their lifecycle and
  • Experience managing project budgets and resource loading.
  • Experience interfacing with senior leaders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong project management skills combined with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Broad generalist knowledge across the spectrum of Olympic or Paralympic Games Delivery or experience in large events.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement risk mitigation plans and drive consensus when the path forward may be ambiguous.
  • Excellent data analysis, presentation preparation skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adjust communication to a variety of audiences.
  • Expertise in using project management tools (Smartsheet experience preferred)

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office.
  • The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.
  • The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.
  • Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.
  • Perform other duties as required; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The annual base salary range for this position is $105,000.00 - $130,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28's operational business needs and applicable law.
