What You Will Do *

  • Lead and support the monthly financial planning, forecasting, and close process (RPLAN), ensuring completion of deliverables in accordance with established schedules and program requirements.
  • Develop Quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs) and monthly Latest Revised Estimates (LREs), providing financial analysis and reporting to program leadership.
  • Perform PRISM and material financial analysis, including MRP updates, grouping, pegging, distribution impacts, and end-to-end material cost analysis.
  • Prepare and communicate financial forecasts, commitments, risks, opportunities, and program financial status to program teams and leadership.
  • Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly cost, schedule, and variance analysis, identifying financial drivers and supporting corrective action planning.
  • Prepare and maintain cost, schedule, funding, and financial reports using enterprise financial tools and standardized processes.
  • Review and validate EAC inputs, executive presentations, proposal financial data, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with established financial processes.

Qualifications You Must Have *

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree and less than 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional organizations, including Contracts, Operations, Engineering, and other business functions.
  • Experience analyzing financial and operational data to support portfolio performance, identify cost and schedule variances, and support financial planning activities.
  • Experience managing multiple assignments and priorities in a matrixed organization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data analysis), PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience preparing financial reports, analyses, and presentations for management.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for access to information supporting U.S. Government contracts and security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience using SAP, APEX EV, Business Warehouse (BW), or comparable enterprise financial systems.
  • Experience supporting Government Contracting (GovCon) or Defense programs.
  • Knowledge of government accounting requirements and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
  • Experience preparing financial briefings, reports, and presentations for management and external stakeholders.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate27s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company27s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
