JOB SUMMARY

The Contractor shall advise and assist by providing PE for the planning of test activities. This assistance includes supporting, conducting, and evaluating time and engineering cost estimates in support of research, development, test, training and acquisition of test programs. Contractor support specific requirements include, but are not limited to: briefing 96 TW test capabilities, interfacing with TEs, Test teams and TW support organizations and customers to develop test documentation, defining requirements and cost estimates based on range resources and test objectives, coordinating scheduling of resources to support customers, tracking and validating of expenditures through test completion, and assist as a representative on master planning boards, technical program review boards, study groups, and other conferences to refine test plans and to discuss policy, management, responsibility, test methods, facilities, time-phasing, and technical capabilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Level 3 - This skill level requires 3 to 10 years of experience and a bachelor's or master's degree in the applicable discipline. This skill level typically performs all functional duties independently.

SECURITY CLEARANCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have a minimum of an active U.S. SECRET clearance and be subject to a government security investigation.
  • Driving or renting a car for company business is expected with some frequency. For insurance purposes, a valid driver's license is required.
  • Do you have the ability to pass a background check to be granted access to the specific working location installation bases to perform work for GMRE? (Pertains to Technical Services positions)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

TRAVEL REQUIRED
  • Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position for meetings, trainings, and/or site visits.
