Program Director 1 to join our team of qualified individuals. This leadership opportunity may be based in
Melbourne, FL or in St. Augustine, FL with travel to Melbourne, FL required. This is a leadership position with daily executive interactions, and selected candidate will display consistent impeccable judgment and embody Northrop Grumman leadership behaviors. Key Responsibilities include: - Positively lead, inspire and motivate a team to execute to plan
- Effectively coordinate across multiple program IPTs to manage change and configuration of requirements
- Customer communication and collaboration to drive mutual goals and shared success
- Lead a team of technical team members to deliver program, cost and technical milestones
- Leadership of a team of direct reports where you will define goals, develop the team and ensure the team is continuously performing and growing into expanded roles
- Lead a diverse team in the execution of a dynamic development, manufacturing and test program baseline
- Actively manage Risk, Issues & Opportunities to ensure program execution success
- Partner with functional disciplines to define and integrate expertise into the team
- Be a digital advocate, applying new tools and functionality to drive execution efficiencies
- Define, negotiate, monitor & track performance of suppliers; manage change and ensure performance to plan
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree and 10 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years) of related experience as defined below, OR a Master's degree and 8 years (or Master of Science in STEM and 7 years) of related experience as defined below
- Related experience includes a background in project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions
- At least 3 years' experience in program/project management on development, manufacturing and/or testing of Department of Defense contracts.
- Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. government Secret clearance (must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company
- Responsibility for profit and loss with government customers in the execution of cost-type contracts
- Earned Value Management experience within the defense industry
- Change Management experience
- Supplier Management experience across the defense industrial base
Preferred Qualifications: - Active U.S. government Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Prior roles executing on digital programs leading to an understanding of how digital ecosystems function, integrate data and deliver execution efficiencies
- Experience leading a team in a matrixed environment to achieve program goals
- Program management experience on Agile programs applying incremental planning and delivering programs on schedule
- Responsibility for profit and loss with U.S. Military customers in the execution of cost-type contracts
- Earned Value Management experience on U.S. Military programs
- At least 3 years' experience in program/project management on development, manufacturing and/or testing of air vehicles or modification of air vehicles

Primary Level Salary Range: $193,800.00 - $290,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
