Job Title: Program Data Analyst

Department: Operations - Services

Reports To: RavenTek Program Manager

Location: Washington, DC with flexibility for telework- onsite twice per week, (must live within driving distance)

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours: Full-time, 40-hours/week

FLSA Status: Hourly, Nonexempt

Clearance: Public Trust

Position Summary

The Program Data Analyst provides analytical and program support services focused on data analysis, reporting, and operational insight to improve organizational transparency and decision-making. This position analyzes program data, develops dashboards, validates financial and performance metrics, and prepares reports that support leadership decision-making and program performance monitoring. The Program Data Analyst collaborates with program managers and stakeholders to generate insights, maintain accurate reporting, and support program operations. The performance of this position is key to RavenTek's performance on the contract, and therefore RavenTek's mission to support the customer.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards based on program datasets to support operational visibility and reporting.
  • Analyze financial, operational, and performance data to identify trends, generate insights, and support decision-making.
  • Reconcile spreadsheet calculations and validate financial and performance metrics for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare reports, visualizations, and briefings to communicate program performance and findings to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Provide oversight and administrative support for acquisition and program support activities, ensuring compliance with established processes.
  • Coordinate with program managers and stakeholders to support program objectives and reporting requirements.
  • Develop and maintain status reports for program activities, risks, and corrective actions.
  • Support decision-making by documenting requirements, tracking metrics, and capturing lessons learned.
  • Apply project management and program support practices to assist with lifecycle management of initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools.
  • Coordinate with teams to address data management, reporting requirements, and system integration needs.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and briefings; capture and distribute action items and follow-up tasks.
  • Maintain a centralized information repository, SOPs, templates, dashboards, and guidance documents.
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, and administrative actions as required to maintain program compliance.
  • Enter actual time worked, once complete, at the end of the day, or no later than 10:00 a.m. the following workday, and submit timesheets at the end of each pay period.
  • Submit Monthly Status Reports on a regular basis, as required.
  • Monitor RavenTek email on a regular basis, at least 3 times per week, and respond accordingly.
  • Complete required compliance training as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Critical Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret trends and develop insights from program data.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data validation, reconciliation, and analysis.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.

Education & Work Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in program analysis, data analysis, or management consulting supporting federal projects.
  • Experience developing dashboards and visualizations using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools.

Certifications, Licenses
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

Special Requirements
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
  • Must have flexibility to work on-site as required.

Work Environment

Employee will be working indoors in an office environment with other people. Potential moderate temperature fluctuations. Typical indoor and computer related noise level, and typical office, paper, and equipment related dust. Exposure to video display terminals occurs on a regular basis.

Physical Demands

To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, the employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; see to read printed materials and computer screens; mobility to work in a typical office setting. Ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and may be required to provide recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee must be able to lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically up to 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
