Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE),Wellbeing and Support Services, is seeking qualified individuals to apply for the position of Program Coordinator

The Program Coordinator in the Wellbeing and Support Services Division leads centralized coordination of the LACOE Fee Schedule Billing Consortium and the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiatives (CYBHI) Fee Schedule implementation. Responsibilities include recruiting consortium participants, coordinating training and technical assistance, managing communications, and tracking participation and deliverables. The position also supervises a team and oversees day-to-day operations to ensure stable implementation and sustained support across internal teams and external partners.

The Well Qualified Candidate Will Possess the Following

Knowledge:
  • Applicable sections of the California Education Code, California Code of Regulations, and policies, rules and regulations of the Los Angeles County Office of Education, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA)
  • Relevant guidelines and best practices pertaining to the coordination of educational programs

  • Public and private funding sources, funding acquisition procedures, fees schedules, and expenditure regulations

Required Education and ExperienceEducation: A bachelor's degree with upper level coursework in education, behavioral science, social work, business, public administration or a field closely related to the job requirements of this classification from an institution of higher learning accredited by a regional accrediting organization recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation. Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

Experience: Five years of experience in program development and administration in the field of education or social and community services.

Additional Requirements: A valid California driver's license, proof of insurability, and the availability of private transportation or the ability to provide transportation between job sites may be required.
