What this job involves:

This position plays vital role in supporting comprehensive administration of innovative Horticulture Program for Amazon Global Real Estate & Facilities while maintaining commitment to JLL's Leadership Behaviors. You will work closely with Horticulture Program Manager to develop and implement administrative processes that drive operational excellence while directly contributing to creating healthy, attractive, and sustainable natural environments for Amazon employees and community. This diverse program encompasses all corporate horticulture initiatives, requiring coordination with numerous internal and external partners. This role contributes to JLL's business objectives by combining detailed administrative support with strategic thinking, helping to implement processes that ensure program sustainability and operational excellence while maintaining JLL's reputation for building strong vendor partnerships and delivering outstanding client service, and maintaining JLL's reputation for excellence in corporate real estate services through seamless horticulture program coordination and implementation of JLL's leadership behaviors, best practices, and innovations while balancing big-picture strategy with day-to-day execution and maintaining collaborative, solution-focused approach to challenges.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Lead aspects of budgetary activities including accruals, variance, purchase order management, and other financial administrative tasks
  • Manage procurement processes including preparing purchase requisitions, processing invoices, and maintaining critical supply inventories in collaboration with horticulture staff
  • Coordinate and communicate horticulture team schedules using various calendar and organizational tools to ensure seamless program operations
  • Compose professional communications including emails, reports, and business correspondence using proper formatting and style
  • Represent JLL and Horticulture Program professionally across various audiences including clients, vendors, speakers, and supporting organizations and at in-person and virtual events
  • Support Greenhouse, Spheres, and Community Landscape teams with administrative and operational support as needed
  • Plan, organize, and oversee horticultural events while determining and securing all necessary resources for successful execution
  • Conduct research and prepare critical project elements to support specific horticulture initiatives
  • Implement JLL's leadership behaviors, best practices, and innovations
  • Work closely with Horticulture Program Manager to develop and implement administrative processes that drive operational excellence
  • All additional duties commensurate to level of role.


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited institution
  • Minimum of three years of administrative office experience in professional environment
  • Must meet highest attendance and punctuality requirements with reliable schedule adherence
  • Ability and willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent responsibilities, meet strict deadlines, and assume additional responsibilities as needed
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and willingness to learn additional software applications
  • Advanced skills in balancing budgets, creating purchase orders, managing vendors, and coordinating corporate events and community outreach programs
  • Experience organizing and coordinating corporate events or community outreach programs
  • Ability to professionally present technical information and business correspondence to diverse audiences in verbal and written formats with strong grammar and proofreading capabilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including professionalism, customer service, collaboration, inclusivity, teamwork, and commitment to JLL's Leadership Behaviors
  • Exceptional communication skills, critical thinking, analysis, and judgement.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Science, Finance, or related field
  • Background in program coordination, vendor management, procurement, inventory management, and budget administration in fast-paced corporate settings
  • Experience working in corporate real estate, facilities management, or property services environments
  • Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional team environments where innovative ways of working are embraced
  • Knowledge of horticulture, landscaping, or environmental sustainability
  • Experience leading aspects of budgetary activities including accruals, variance, purchase order management, and other financial administrative tasks
  • Background managing procurement processes including preparing purchase requisitions, processing invoices, and maintaining critical supply inventories

Estimated compensation for this position:

92,019.00 - 92,019.20 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
