The Program Controls Lead will lead the development of data analytics to drive strategic decisions, provide guidance, drive favorable business & metric performance, & enable leadership to make key strategic decision based on their guidance.
You will influence and collaborate with internal stakeholders to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches as a business partner.
ResponsibilitiesRESPONSIBILITIES - Lead a team of PCO's analyzing and monitoring on more complex, multi site programs
- Demonstrates advanced data analytics using Program Management processes
- Analyze cost and schedule variance versus baseline. Identify root cause and recommend corrective actions
- Support/Drive Project Forecasting, Project Reviews, Monthly Progress Reporting to Internal/External Customers
- Demonstrate advanced Earned Value Management &/or Agile practices, S Curves
- Ensure compliance with relevant SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) controls
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE- 6+ years' experience in Project Controls and/or Project Management.
WE VALUE- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting
- Working knowledge with project management processes (i.e, cost, EVM (Earned Value Management), schedule, baseline development, assigning time phased resources and budgets to work scope, performance measurements, etc.)
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate Leadership, Negotiation, and Organizational skills
- Experience with external customer interfacing
- Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization
- Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
- User experience of ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Microsiga, etc.)
- Proficient Microsoft Office package skills e.g., Excel, Project, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.
- Expert level experience in financial data compilation, analysis, and metrics management
- Project Management, Project Schedule Professional (PMI-SP), or Cost Engineering Certification
- Strong Experience with Cost Control, Scheduling (Waterfall/Agile/Lean/Scrum), Time Management, and Contract Management
- Six Sigma Green Belt
- Able to be flexible and think outside the box
- Bi/Multi-lingual
- Leadership Skills
SBU SPECIFIC- Experience in EcoSys, Cora, or other PMIS (Project Management Information System)
- Experience in MS Project and/or Primavera P6.
- Cost Reporting Generation: CPR, IPMR, IPMDAR, CFSR
- External Integrated Master Schedule Reporting: Microsoft Project, SSI Tool
