Job DescriptionCOLSA is seeking a Program Control Analyst to support the planning, management, and execution of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) programs for Aeroworks operations in Madison, Alabama. This position works closely with program leadership and functional teams across COLSA in the areas of budgeting, forecasting, cost and schedule performance, resource planning, financial and operational analysis, and program reporting to support informed business and program decisions. This position reports to the Director, Uncrewed Systems.
- Supports program leadership with program planning, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, resource planning, and performance monitoring.
- Supports the development and maintenance of program budgets, forecasts, financial projections, resource plans, and other program planning information in coordination with appropriate functional teams.
- Monitors program costs, schedules, and performance against established plans and identifies trends, variances, risks, and areas requiring attention.
- Monitors labor, materials, equipment, travel, purchasing, and other program costs and resource requirements to support program planning and performance analysis.
- Tracks program schedules, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and other key planning information to support program execution and performance reporting.
- Analyzes financial and operational data to support program planning, forecasting, resource management, and performance analysis.
- Develops and maintains program status reports, financial reports, metrics, dashboards, presentations, and other performance information for program and company leadership.
- Works collaboratively across program, business, technical, and operational teams to obtain and analyze information needed to support program planning and execution.
- Maintains accurate program data, planning information, and reporting tools in accordance with established company processes and procedures.
- Provides program leadership with timely analysis of cost, schedule, resource, and performance information, including trends, risks, and potential impacts, to support planning and informed decision-making.
Required ExperienceRequired Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business, Program Management, Operations, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of related experience in accounting, program controls, project controls, program finance, financial analysis, program management support, business operations, or a related function.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, financial analysis, scheduling, and program performance reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational information, identify trends and issues, and translate information into practical insights for program leadership.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple and changing priorities, and effectively coordinate across program, technical, operational, and business functions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate financial and program information.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check prior to employment.
Preferred Qualifications:- Accounting or Finance major.
- Experience supporting aerospace, aviation, UAS, manufacturing, engineering, or other technical programs.
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint, IBM Cognos, or similar financial, ERP, or business reporting systems.
- Experience developing program metrics, dashboards, and management-level reporting.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, evolving program environment requiring collaboration across financial, operational, and technical functions.
