Job DescriptionPurpose:Program Control (Program Finance) plans, controls, and reports program financial performance. Program Control is a well-rounded role that introduces an employee to the various facets of BAE Systems finance. This role specifically supports the Paragon & Firetip portfolios within the Advanced Electronic Warfare Systems (AEWS) Product Line within the Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) Business Area. This role offers an exciting and challenging opportunity across two portfolios with engaging and diverse programs executing throughout the product life cycle.
We are looking for an individual excited by the prospect of expanding their financial analysis skills by supporting these strategic portfolios in a fast-paced environment.
This role will be performed in a
hybrid remote capacity, with the individual
splitting their time between working on-site at BAE Facilities (Nashua, NH) and remotely. To be considered for this opportunity,
applicants must either currently reside within a reasonable daily commute of our Nashua offices, or be
willing to relocate to the area at their own expense.
Responsibilities may include:- Create, maintain, and monitor program baselines utilizing Earned Value Management or another appropriate method.
- Develop and update financial forecasts and estimates at complete
- Analyze program financial performance and variances to forecasts
- Complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting requirements both internally and externally
- Contribute as trusted finance partner at program meetings and reviews
- Collaborate with program manager and cross-functional partners in all financial aspects of the program, such as baselining, forecasting, and reporting
- Carry out miscellaneous program financial analysis as required and continually assess and improve program control processes
- Support the project closeout process
Required Skills and Education- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of work experience or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Demonstrates problem solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrates ability to communicate and present financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures and procedures.
Preferred Skills and Education- Requires eligibility to obtain a Secret level Clearance, with existing Secret Clearance preferred.
