- You will support all facets of Program Management, including, planning, executing, and managing technical
efforts supporting the integration and interoperability testing of C5I installations. - You will coordinate and conduct Planning Definition Survey (PDS) phase of DGSIT program on deploying strike group surface combatants with focus on cruisers/destroyers (CRUDES) and amphibious units.
- You will define testing requirements based on scope of installed C5I system coverage and configuration.
- You will assist in team development of up to 70 GS-12/13 personnel in an aggregated seven ship underway testing environment.
- You will assess efficiencies of DGSIT internal processes across all teams that are linked to operational and system support functions to improve the effectiveness and productivity of the DGSIT program and associated processes.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
- Medical Screening is required for Government Civilian Employees prior to embarking on U.S. Navy vessel afloat and away from shore for periods of time greater than 24 hours. Reference COMUSFLTFORCOM/COMPACFLT INSTRUCTION 6320.3 series.
QualificationsYour resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience supporting all facets of Deploying Group Systems Integration Testing Pacific (DGSIT PAC) program including, but not limited to the planning, coordination, execution, and management of technical efforts supporting the integration and interoperability testing of C5ISR installations associated with surface (CG/DDG/LPD/LSD) units assigned to a deploying Carrier Strike Group (CSG), Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG) or Amphibious Ready Group (ARG).
- Experience assisting in the development of DGSIT program milestones and program documentation for all phases of the program.
- Experience identifying and assisting in the resolution of programmatic issues between all stakeholders and organizations associated with DGSIT activities.
- Experience coordinating and conducting Planning Definition Survey (PDS) phase of DGSIT program on deploying Strike Group surface combatants with focus on cruisers/destroyers (CRUDES) and amphibious units to review/confirm individual hull-unique installations and configurations to ensure applicable Subject Matter Expert (SME) support is provided during Final Integration Testing (FIT) phase.
- Experience assisting in identifying testing requirements, based on scope of C5ISR/IW systems coverage and configuration.
- Experience supervising and managing systems engineering teams of up to 18 personnel during underway C5I testing.

Work is typically performed in an adequately lighted and climate controlled office space. There is occasional exposure to adverse conditions when embarked or visiting Navy and USMC units. The work could involve recurrent exposure to potential hazards in the general course of duties. Specifically, hazards associated with at-sea or field exercise conditions during the execution of the DGSIT program duties.
