Summary

You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Director for Training, Tactical Development and Doctrine Directorate (Code N7) of PAC FLEET SUB FORCE OPS COMPONENT.

• You will oversee the administrative, fiscal, and contractual management of assigned training programs.
• You will develop and schedule crew training and provide metrics on the training and certification of submarine deployments.
• You will support the integration of tactical system modernization plans and communicate technical requirements clearly to a broad audience.
• You will use qualitative and quantitative studies to identify, define, and resolve issues related to submarine tactical system conditions.
• You will review reports and support requests to identify deficiencies and recommend solutions.
• You will manage the deployment and performance of submarine tactical systems.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector evaluating and modernizing submarine tactical systems, submarine special operations forces ops, tomahawk missile employment; managing training programs and providing technical expertise on specialized equipment and procedures; and analyzing reports and data to identify trends.

This position is subject to working an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

This position is subject to an initial drug screening, and random testing thereafter. A negative drug test result must be received by HR within 30 calendar days after the EOD (i.e., start date). The selectee's inability to successfully pass; or refusal to conduct the test may result in 1) the tentative or final job offer being withdrawn during the recruitment process; or 2) subsequently being removed from Federal service for failure to meet a condition of employment. You may be required to sign a "Drug Test Statement of Understanding" if you are selected for this position.
