Summary

You will serve as the Operations Lead to the Program Executive, Aegis-Based Defense / Commander of Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense of AEGIS BMD.

Duties

Help

  • You will monitor the maintenance and updating of the Agency's Tasking System.
  • You will manage and direct a multi-functional Executive Office team performing complex and multi-faceted activities in the Tasking System which provide direct support to the AB Executive Office.
  • You will act for the Chief of Staff, releases responses to taskings which are fully vetted, properly staffed and meet all reporting requirements.
  • You will identify concepts and directs the development and issue of standardized processes and instructions to improve efficiency and effectiveness in Executive Office and other AB operations.
  • You will represent the Executive Office in internal and external meetings and communications, determining appropriate actions to be taken and speaking for the Executive Office.
  • You will participate in AB planning events and off-sites to develop team policies, procedures, strategies, philosophies and execution plans.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band, GS-13 grade level equivalent in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: knowledge of working in a multi-functional Executive Office performing complex and multi-faceted activities which provide direct support to the Command improving efficiency and effectiveness in Executive Office and other Operations.

Military Spouse Preference applicants will be placed at the highest grade for which they have applied and are determined Best Qualified (BQ). PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ). To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation.

The NH-04 broadband is equivalent to the GS-14 and GS-15 grade levels. This position has a control point; thus, the salary range for this position is capped at GS-15, step 05 which is currently equivalent to $191,850. If your current salary is above this amount, your salary may be matched.
