What You Will Do:

Guidehouse has an exciting opportunity in our Defense and Security Segment to support a US Federal Government client. As part of the client's IT PMO team, the Program Analyst will lead business process improvement efforts such as business process design, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) development, and IT portfolio governance support.

The individual will regularly interact with senior government officials, staff, business owners, and external technical teams and will be engaged in a diverse set of program-specific tasks related to the organization's modernization efforts. The individual should possess a willingness to be flexible in supporting numerous work products and deliverables.

Tasks include:
  • Work with Stakeholders to identify and develop relevant Standard Operating Procedures
  • Perform current state process mapping and identify gaps for process improvement activities
  • Facilitate Department-wide IT governance meetings for senior level executives; includes working closely with Business Owners to document their enterprise IT system updates and progress, and proactively support issue identification and prioritization; and conduct analysis to support decision-making
  • Develop presentation materials for executive stakeholders
  • Draft Information and Action Memos for Front Office leadership
  • Support Advisory Council meetings and governance; support development of IT Business Cases to inform decision-making


What You Will Need:
  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • FOUR (4) years professional experience with at least TWO (2) years as a Program Analyst


What Would Be Nice To Have:
  • Experience improving processes and defining current and future state process maps
  • Experience supporting enterprise IT initiatives or experience supporting an IT PMO
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience using at a Federal program
  • Ability to communicate applicable technical subject matter expertise to management and others
  • Experience building relationships, managing customer expectations, and communicating across all levels of staff and leadership.
  • Flexibility, agility, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment as well as to work independently.
  • Experience/knowledge working in Azure DevOps
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and/or other cloud-based software products.
  • Self-motivated with innate organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple work streams against tight deadlines.
  • Experience building project plans, status reports, and other content for executive leadership which promote efficient decision-making.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills


The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
