Full Job Description
As an Operations Support Specialist supporting our Federal government client, you will be trusted to support all activities and efforts related to business operations managed and executed by the Staff Director. In this role you will support the evaluation, analysis, strategy, and development of policies, processes, and recommended business operations solutions.

Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
  • Supporting the development and execution of division priorities, goals, requirements, and objectives
  • Conducting market research to maximize impact and minimize costs; manage deadlines and promote desired outcomes
  • Developing and coordinating support staffing plan; recommended efficiencies; process flows and standard operating procedures office-wide
  • Managing and reconciling meeting/engagement expenditures; integrate data into ROI metrics analysis and lessons learned
  • Supporting workforce development and training initiatives
  • Providing oversight, management and development of records management and knowledge management processes
  • Analyzing and interpreting large amounts of program output data and information associated with Division accomplishments and measurable impacts
  • Assisting with the identification of programmatic strengths and weaknesses
  • Supporting the creation and development of the clients' knowledge management initiative

Location:

You will work as part of a hybrid team in the Washington, DC metro area.

Required Experience/Skills:
  • A Bachelor's degree and 7 years of relevant professional experience or
    • A Master's Degree and 5 years of experience
  • Demonstrated experience with cross-functional team collaboration
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and provide proposals and recommendations on content, processes, and initiatives undertaken by the federal staff
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Must have an active SECRET security clearance

Preferred Experience/Skills:
  • Previous experience supporting the Department of Homeland Security
  • Strong command of Agile/Scrum style project management
  • Experience with SharePoint, PowerBI, Atlassian Tools (JIRA)

Salary:

Approximate Salary Estimate: $105,000 - $115,000 annually
