Overview

The PCS Research Program Manager works with the Patient Care Services (PCS) and PCS Research Departments to build and support a culture of inquiry within the organization. The Manager works in partnership with the Chief Nursing Executive (CNE)/Chief Operating Officer (COO) and the Director of PCS Research to implement, support or coordinate projects and programs that evaluate patient care outcomes, generate new knowledge and support the mission, vision, and strategic plans of the Department of Nursing, Allied Health and the organization. The Program Manager helps mentor PCS clinicians to submit research proposals to the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and to disseminate research results via abstracts, manuscripts, and presentations.

  • One of the following: Licensed RN - Kansas, Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas, Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri, RN Compact license for all states besides KS and MO required upon hire
  • Refer to Nursing and Advanced Practice Provider Licensure and Certification policy for required Life Support Certifications Required Upon Hire
  • Specialty Certification (Nursing Administration or Research) Preferred Upon Hire

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $41.85/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children's Mercy locations and may not work from home.
