Multiple Positions Available:
Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions
tailored to customer needs, ensuring adherence to best practices,
optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project.
Collaborate with teams that include Amazonians, partners, and customers
to gather requirements, assess information systems and technology, and
propose effective risk mitigation strategies.
Build and deploy security infrastructure and automate security operations
for customers.
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout
project delivery.
Collaborate on internal builder projects.
Serve as a deep technical resource and trusted advisor on emerging
trends and leading technologies that earn customer trust.
Develop high quality technical content such as automation tools,
reference architectures, and white papers to help consultants, partners,
and customers build on delivered work.
Innovate on behalf of customers and translate ideas into actionable
solutions yielding measurable results.
Mentor and invest in development team members through training and
creating reusable artifacts.
Domestic travel up to 20% and up to 5% international travel are required to perform role responsibilities.
(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $131300 - $177600)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
A master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or
Business Analytics or a related field and 2 years of experience in job offered
or a related occupation.
In the alternative, the employer will accept a bachelor's degree or foreign
equivalent in in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Analytics or a
related field followed by 4 years of progressively responsible experience in job
offered or a related occupation as equivalent to a security subject matter expert.
Experience must include:
1. 1 year of experience in security focused cloud engineering and
solution architecture, designing architecture diagrams, aligning
business and technical requirements, implementation roadmaps,
applying secure design principles, working with cloud native and
hybrid architectures.
2. 2 years of experience in Security Operations, monitoring, detection
and response using SIEM, EDR and cloud-native security tools,
developing and tuning threat detection rules, applying MITRE
ATT&CK frameworks, mapping TTPs.
3. 2 years of experience in Security compliance and Audit advisory,
implement controls based on NIST, ISO27001, CSI benchmarks,
conduct risk assessments and gap analyses, develop compliance
reporting and dashboard using tools like looker.
4. 2 years of experience in securing AWS, GCP or Azure cloud
infrastructure, implementing IAM, network security, VPC controls,
compute protection, applying security best practices, deploying and
managing infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform and
CloudFormation, developing runbooks, have practical knowledge of
threat modeling, CSPM, vulnerability management.
5. 2 years of experience in Strategic advisory, data-driven KPI
development, risk and trend analysis, Analytics tools, dashboard
development, presenting risk insights, stakeholder management.
The pay range for this position in Chicago, IL is $131300 - $177600 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
