Job Description

Due to our continued growth and success, we have a new position open for aProfessional Services & Area Technical Manager. The successful candidate must be based in the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario.

In this role, you will be the bridge between complex technical solutions and strategic business success, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.

What You27ll Do Here26hellip;

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of technical experts by fostering a collaborative environment and providing mentorship and strategic guidance needed to maintain core business competencies
  • Oversee the national program management for the A&E community in Canada to drive business development and standardization
  • Support sales as they explore and start defining potential professional service offerings
  • Work with Axis internal stakeholders to ensure systems and tools are in place to deliver services
  • Make recommendations to management on feasibility of such services and executes plans to implement accordingly
  • Continually adapt and position the Services organization to fulfill the changing needs of our internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with other technical teams to establish best practices regarding handoff and support structure for delivered services
  • Oversee project management and maintenance initiatives of the Axis Experience Centres across Canada
  • Generate processes to increase the efficiency of the department
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


What We Are Looking For 26hellip;

  • A coaching-oriented leader with a proven ability to navigate teams through change, empowering individuals while maintaining high accountability and a focus on collective success.
  • Strong project management experience and the ability to create and work within high performing teams
  • Proven history of consultative thinking and approach to system design and major projects
  • Extensive system design and integration experience (site surveys, camera placement, network design, bandwidth/storage calculations, pixels on target, application drawings (Visio, CAD), etc.
  • Extensive industry knowledge of 3rd party hardware and software technology platforms
  • Strong technical networking knowledge and experience in working with and supporting various SaaS or cloud based technologies
  • Ability to understand and create detailed RFI/RFP responses and submittals, project bill of materials, reference architectures and other supporting project documentation
  • Strong sales mentality and customer relationship skills
  • Proven ability to work in cross functional teams and business units
  • Ability to convey complex technologies and specifications easily
  • Positive customer-centric attitude, and excellent communication and presentation skills

Pay range:

The approximate total compensation range for this location and position is $160K-$180K, which includes a 90% base / 10% commission OTE and corporate bonus. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual27s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the province.
